Alex Chaucer
|
Alex Chaucer has been working in education, research, and training for the last 10 years, and more recently specifically focusing on augmented and virtual reality. He has worked under a NASA grant teaching and developing college level courses, has developed a high school program, has developed and taught online coursework, and has been an instructional designer. He is a motivated and creative technology professional with expertise in program management, instructional design, geospatial technology, social branding, and virtual reality. He enjoys the human elements of information technology and working with technology across diverse communities and learner types.

Steven Sato
|
Steven Sato is currently the Technology Director for a K8 Independent School in Los Angeles. He has been an educator for 19 years and as a life-long learner he dedicates his time to the advancement of K12 education through the appropriate use of technology. He is a Google Certified Innovator, the Co-Organizer of the LA Immersive Edtech Meetup Group and is an Immersive Experience Producer. He focuses on the integration and research of immersive technologies such as Virtual and Augmented Reality in K12 Education and believes these technologies will revolutionize how we meet the goal of transferring knowledge to pupils. Steven also focuses on creating and maintaining strategic partnerships between K12 Education and the Immersive Industry through the curation and coordination of immersive experiences for conferences.

Amanda Fox
|
Amanda Fox is an educational pioneer, edupreneur, and CEO of FoxBrite, LLC. Fox received her Bachelor's degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2010, in Middle Grades Education and has taught English Language Arts, Social Studies, Film, and Journalism. Amanda is the recipient of the 2016 ISTE Emerging Leader Award, and was recently recognized as a PBS Digital innovator for her initiatives in leveraging technology to enhance student learning . She specializes in instructional design, educational technology, STEAM curriculum, flipped instruction, and PBL. During her time at The STEM Academy, Amanda implemented a flipped classroom model, co-authored problem based courses, and was a major contributor to being awarded the STEM Excellence Award by The Future of Education Technology Conference. Not only is she a member of ISTE, but is also the current president of the Young Educator Network. Amanda also worked with Georgia Southern University on a series of TKES modules that offer digital badge accreditation for teachers and aspiring teacher leaders. Her current project involves Story Centered Graphic Novel themed STEAM lessons in a blended capacity. She is completing her leadership certificate through Harvard's CAEL program in order to become a more effective leader.

James McCrary

James McCrary is a director of technology & consultant based in Baton Rouge. He leads PD at the local, state, national level & started #PDexchangeEDU, a virtual professional development model. He has a background as a social studies educator and technology specialist, receiving his B.S.- History from LSU and his M.Ed.- Technology Integration from SELU. A Google Certified Educator, Common Sense Media Certified, an Apple Teacher, and an Alpha Squirrel Class of 2016, James has a great desire to integrate technology skills in the classroom. He also has a fascination with 3D development, especially for Augmented and Virtual Reality with a focus on immersion technologies presenting on the topic at national and international technology conferences.
